Discovering Their World at the Day Care Center
Discovering the world around them, is a primary goal for children in the day care center. Learning about their environment, both inside the classroom and outdoors, is important and exciting for children from Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest and South Miami, FL. Children ages 15 months to 24 months are encouraged to join the day care center, as this is where children’s innate gifts can be nurtured and supported. Most parents are concerned about leaving their child at day care the first time, but with our 1 to 4 staff to child ratio, they understand that the children are well observed. Our day care center classroom environment supports each child in their learning and development. They are able to explore and discover interesting smells, textures and sounds as they go through their day.
Grown and Development for Children at the Day Care Center
During their time in the day care center, you will see growth in each student. They will develop independence skills that will evolve as they continue their education. As the children are introduced to new things in the classroom, their language, and pre-literacy skills will also grow. Through the use of self-talk by teachers, listening to music, and exploring rhythm, the foundations are laid for skill development in the areas of communication, math, science, and more. The teachers and staff at the day care center are there to provide the help and understanding needed for each child to grow. The Margaux Early Childhood School is SO MUCH MORE than a day care center, and our classes run five days a week, for children from Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and South Miami, FL. There are two class options for parents to choose.
