Coronavirus Update

Dear Margaux School Families,

Temple Judea leadership, in consultation with the Pandemic Planning Task Force, has been consistently evaluating information and recommendations from federal, state, and local health officials. The safety of our students, teachers, and staff continues to be our top priority.

In keeping with recommendations from the CDC and the State of Florida, the Margaux School will remain closed through Friday, April 17, 2020. We will continue to monitor recommendations, and will communicate with families on an ongoing basis as the situation continues to evolve.

During this time of tremendous anxiety and uncertainty we are reminded of the strength of this community. We are very proud of the creative ways that our Margaux School faculty and administration are maintaining and sustaining connections with Margaux School students and families. This will continue throughout the closure via email and Remini, as well as Facebook and the Temple Judea and Margaux School websites.

Judaism instructs that we should not separate ourselves from the community – על תפרוש מן הציבור. We will continue to work hard so that our community remains connected and strong and guided by the values of love and compassion during these difficult days.

Sincerely,
Mikki Feiberg, Early Childhood Director
Beth Young, Director of Education
Rabbi Judith L. Siegal
Rabbi Jonathan Fisch
Gary Matzner, President
Sharon Israel Moskovitz, Executive Director
Joshua Brandfon, Pandemic Planning Task Force Chair
