Choosing a pre school for your child is a very big decision. There are a number different things that you should look for, and one of them is accreditation. In the realm of pre schools, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the preeminent organization. They hold themselves to exacting standards, so accreditation from them is highly coveted by all pre schools that aspire to excellence.
We are proud to be able to say that our Coral Gables pre school is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is something that is not easily earned, so it really says a lot about our pre school.
Preparation begins with an intensive self-study and an evaluation and improvement stage. When the program believes it meets the required standards, NAEYC evaluators come out to the school to conduct a thorough inspection, and we passed with flying colors to receive our accreditation. We should point out the fact that there are about 7,000 centers like ours in the United States that are eligible for this distinction. Over 90 percent of them have been unable to attain the National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation.

These communities are closely related, and parents of our children who come from all over the area are members of our Parents’ Association.
The Association has clearly defined goals and they are quite admirable. They endeavor to foster optimal learning experiences for the children on multiple levels. This is primarily done by building connections among families, supporting the educators who work in our pre school, and raising funds to ensure our state of the art facility remains at the forefront of early childhood education in Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Coconut Grove, South Miami, and in fact the entire country.
People who actively participate in our pre school’s Parents’ Association try to get all parents involved. They do everything possible to build a strong community.
