Is this a strictly Jewish day care center?

As a part of Temple Judea, The Margaux School is a day care center rooted in Jewish tradition and celebrations. We do celebrate holidays, we recognize Shabbat, and our spiritual foundation is present within the approach that we take to early childhood education. At the same time, the values that we hold dear are universal, so people from all backgrounds are quite welcome. We find that families who are not Jewish feel right at home here at The Margaux School.

Do you use a particular teaching philosophy at The Margaux School?

Yes! Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to education that places at its center a strong image of each individual child. Children are encouraged to use classroom materials to explore and communicate. Self-expression and group interactions are also very important parts of this highly regarded approach to early childhood education.
